Artificial
Artificial blogs are everywhere now. Check out the soap opera websites – read Kendall Hart's blog on AMC, read Nigel's Blog from Crossing Jordan or Dwight's from the Office. This all i find funny because back in 1995/1997 I was obsessed with the idea that you could through everyday media totally falsify a life or a profession or what have you. How I got into Stanislav Lem – we got caught up in a documentary on tv about the future which interviewed theorists and futurists etc etc – then the credits roll and it says 'all characters created by Stanislav Lem.' Well i was hooked and quickly ended up reading One Human Minute, fictional book reviews for nonfiction books written in the future. Oy!
And this is reality tv. Fast becoming an oxymoron of the "military intelligence" ilk. And the fictional blog follows suit. I'm sure there must be fan-fiction blogs as well, battling with the official blog. And how are we to know which false reality is the real one?
